CLARENDON, Nov. 23. (Special) The Groom Tigers' six-man football team defeated the six-man Divide school team from Nolan County in a game here Saturday 39-0. It was another step towards the slate championship for the Groom club, undefeated now for two years. The Divide team are champions of the 15th scholastic district but were no match for the heavy Groom power players. Kuehler made three of the six touchdowns is for Groom. Crowel and Andrews also paid off with touchdowns for the Tigers. Rain, sleet and snow slowed the game but the Groom team kept warm playing in mittens while it wns apparent that the down state club suffered from cold hands. Lineups, Groom — Crowell and Wheeler, ends; Angel, center; Kuehler, Clark and Townsend, backs. Divide — Van Landingham and Jones, ends; Kinerd, center; McMillan, Amson, and Dennis, backs.
