To Rank or Not to Rank?????

Do you read Dave Campbell’s Texas Football magazine? Sure you do. It is a good read year after year after year. It gets you back into the proper frame of mind. It really gets your juices flowing with the picks in each district and the Top Ten for each Division. I read it every year. This year I found a few mistakes along the way.
The way I see it, during the road to the championship this year in Division 1 of Six-Man football, the playoff teams from the West will be Follett, Crowell, Petersburg, Meadow, Ropes, Spur, Paducah, Valley, Borden County, Aspermont, Garden City, Robert Lee, Water Valley, Rankin, Ira, and Sands.
Teams representing the East will be Throckmorton, Blanket, Saint Jo, Walnut Springs, Avalon,Gold-Burg, May, Knox City, Oakwood, Abbott, Lometa, Rochelle, Penelope and Leverett’s Chapel. Also a couple ot teams named BYE.
Division 2 teams making the playoffs from the West bracket will be Miami, Groom, Whitharral, Motley County, Guthrie, Amherst, Happy, Lefors, Dawson, Grandfalls-Royalty, Sterling City, Blackwell, Panther Creek, Trent, Balmorhea, Loop.
Division 2 East representatives will be Jayton, Newcastle, Bryson, Milford, Trinidad, Forestburg, Strawn, Lueders-Avoca, Iredell, Gustine, Richland Springs, Buckholts, Calvert, Mullin, Sidney, and Jonesboro.
ROUND TWO
Division 1 West
Follett defeats Petersburg, Paducah defeats Ropes, Borden County defeats Garden City, Ira defeats Water Valley.
Division 1 East
Throckmorton defeats Walnut Springs, Avalon defeats Knox City, Lometa defeats Abbott, and Penelope defeats Rochelle.
ROUND TWO
Division 2 West
Whitharral defeats Miami, Happy defeats Guthrie, Sterling City defeats Dawson, Balmorhea defeats Panther Creek.
Division 2 East
Milford defeats Newcastle, Strawn defeats Trinidad, Richland Springs defeats Gustine, Calvert defeats Sidney.
ROUND THREE
Division 1 West
Follett defeats Paducah, Borden County defeats Ira
Division 1 East
Throckmorton defeats Avalon, Penelope defeats Lomets
ROUND THREE
Division 2 West
Whitharral defeats Happy, Balmorhea defeats Sterling City
Division 2 East
Strawn defeats Milford, Calvert defeats Richland Springs
