Lone Star Football Network Purpose -- We strive to provide you with as much information as we can about Texas high school football. We feel that it is important to preserve the rich traditions and historical information surrounding the sport. We are currently building a database of old scores for each team in the state, building a network across the state! Stay tuned, we add information every day!!!

Who is behind Lone Star Football Network? -- Shanon Hunt, an alumni of Gordon High School, is the owner, engineer, developer, DBA, principal historian, and driving force behind the Lone Star Football Network. This site wouldn't be possible without his efforts and the efforts of many others who contribute daily to it. Photo Contest Rules -- Photos submitted for the weekly home page contest must not be copyrighted. By sending us your photos you are giving us permission to use the photos as we see fit on www.LoneStarFootball.net. Photos must be limited to the area of Texas high school football, but not limited to actual game action shots. Winners will be chosen weekly and will appear on the home page in a rotating loop. All accepted photos will appear on our gallery page and be accessed from team pages. Depending on the number of entries, multiple winners may be chosen at a time. Please indicate the date in which the photo was taken along with deatils on what the photo is of (Team Names, Game, Individuals, ect.). You may also provide a caption. Also, be sure to include your name so we can display it with your photo. Photos and information are to be sent to data@lonestarfootball.net. We will accept photos in jpg, gif, or bmp format. Please send photos in the best quality and dimensions possible. Email us at the address above with any questions.
